death of a ricer...birth of an rs

Got the bar on today at work. New bushings, stock links. Holy crap what a difference over the 17mm bar I had. Set the new one to the middle, I assume it's 23mm.

It's massive

Handling is rather ridiculous. It was wet on the way home and the car was sideways most of the way. Zero body roll. I would say its a bit excessive for street use but oh we'll.

17mm bar is chilling in my garage with the plethora of other Subaru parts.

I need me some fatty sways. Sounds like a fun time in something that doesn't have the center of gravity of a geo tracker

little update: finally scored a set of 02-03 wrx seats with the awesome bolstering. Need a good cleaning so ill drop them off with my recon guys at work and let them have at it. After that i need to stitch up a spot and see about dying the seats black or something. Also ive developed an annoying rattle consistent of that of a kitty falling apart, ill need to do some surgery before it clogs the pipe!!!

Hmmm. Has the fold out center piece right?

I still have my old rs checker pattern rear seat and obviously the leather set so I'm not sure just yet.

So I picked up some rear spats for the rs from Sooch on Saturday and just installed them today. Install was pretty straight forward except these are designed to fit a jdm bumper and not the usdm style so they stick out on the ends. Simple fix was my mini torch heating the end and a little pressure to hold it in place.

Could it be a stink bug then?! Lol. And the spats look good. They go great with the RS side skirts

Guess those didn't fall off sooch's ride with my side skirts... Can you tell I'm bitter?

And we call those stink bugs but the real name is Hemiptera, genus Reguvidae. My father in law is an entomologist but I may have spelled that wrong.

There everywhere here at work. I had actually watched him remove them from his car when I picked them up.
