Head on collision coming home from Evergreen tonight

I was also talking to the guys at Seacoast today, and they told me I have a very good chance of getting the title of my car WITHOUT it being branded as a salvage title. The insurance company first had to pay off the loan at my bank before I saw any of the money, but since the title never went to the other insurance company, or a salvage yard, it most likely will not be marked as a salvage title. Now that would be sweet if that's the case!

how is everything coming together

Still there. Should be done next week. I'm still waiting on parts to come here (headlights, struts, sways, misc. stuff)

You going back to factory headlights?

Gonna have some extra money left over to add that subframe back under the car?

Haha that's a big negative on the factory headlamps. I'm waiting on a new set of JDM projectors to come in, they should be here tomorrow (hopefully...)

As far as the subframe goes, I don't know. To be honest, I didn't notice much of a difference with it off. Maybe I will put another one back on, they are pretty cheap to get used...

I think you might not have had as much damage if you had one on. I think it would be a wise choice. That's just my .02

There wasn't as much damage as you think

no frame damage at all was found. But I do agree, it's probably in my best interest to put another one on.

Yah you're right, I'm sure Subaru put that sub frame on for no reason. They just wanted to add some weight.

I wouldn't replace it either.

Woooot! Good news. My insurance check came in and all of the replacement aftermarket parts that got damaged are FINALLY in.. JDM Headlights and new harness, JDM STi hood scoop (new, ditched the 04-05 STi style scoop), STi side markers, HID kit, KYB Struts, and Perrin 22mm Front sway. I should have it back this week, hopefully. Then off to Lobstah's at some point to put in the struts and sway, then to EG for an alignment and recall repair. It's gonna be like driving a new car! Loan is also officially paid off and the repairs will be well under $5k.

I just read this entire thread. Sorry to hear about the car, but glad that things seem to be working out nicely. Especially with being able to make out with a few bucks in your pocket and a few timely upgrades.

So I'm also getting a fully cleaned / repaired (if damage was found) interior for no cost since the dumbasses at Ace towing decided to load up all the garbage from the other guys car into mine. They said they would cover the costs of all cleaning and damage done.
