The 6 spd from the sti or spec b is a much more heavy duty unit than the 6 spds offered in other Subaru models.

I really just want something with a better cruising gear. I turn almost 3k rpm in 5th doing 65.

No they didn't tell her, used car dealer, it does say on the fuel door
