The Durham/Freeport roads I know of are a bit too populated upon further thought, also short.

Fine for playing around on at 3am, but probably not like the rangely drive we did.

No problem. This summer we'll get something together for an all-tarmac drive when folks get their soft summer rubber on.

Thanks for the update Dan. What about the area in Bangor you mentioned to me a couple weeks ago?

will the road near grafton notch be open by then??

I suggest the route include Concord pond stage forward and reverse.

Plenty of dirt north of rangely and probably no one up there to bother.

I'm waiting for my work schedule before I commit to joining in.

that's a awesome idea! your talking about on rt 16 the part they do the rally on right?

that's getting into the sandpeoples' domain....I'm liking this a lot guys

Fryeburg to Gilead,State Route 113. But the northern half of that road has gates, it closes for the winter but when it is open it is a great drive, good elevation change, a scenic overlook to park at, and TWISTIES!!

Id love to go guys but sadly i work on sundays from 9-5 :-( Maybe in the summer we can plan something for a saterday or something!
