That looks like a fun trip! You missed some of the fun roads though... That's my neck of the woods, I'll have to show you the good roads to play on.

It was quite a fun trip... on a whim too!

I've been stretching the cars legs a bit since the new engine and oil pan...... just seein what it can/will do... this July it's going to Bethel for the rally!

SCCA event? When in July? I don't think I've looked that far ahead in their calendar yet. I'm going to be going to the one April 21st in Rochester. You should go to that one too!

 
Oh gotcha! I'm going to NEFR this year too, finally! I wanna get a wagon though. I'm jealous of people that have wagons...

 
Yea wagons are GREAT! ... this "new" engine has been great so far! I've been trying to go a bit farther each weekend and see if there's anything will pop up and nothing has!

I did a VIN check a while back

I was quite pleased with what I read!

I am the fourth owner!

Its apparently been a Maine car its entire life!

I loved the fact the model came up as the "Legacy Outdoor"......I wonder if Meyagis comes up as "Legacy Alpine"?

Results are as follows.

Was originally from Monmouth Maine with an odo. reading of 17 miles in March of 94.

Stayed in Monmouth until 2005!!!

Then went to the New England Auto Auction in March of 2006 with a total of 133,604 miles!

Ended up in Solon Maine in early 2006 until late 2007.

at this point it went to Union Maine with 151,540 miles.

stayed in union from 2007 through 2009

Then I bought it in mid 2010 with 170K!

????What would cause it to be sold at auction???? Was it a trade in to a dealership and they didn't want it?

When I bought it.......it needed a lot of help..

Blown Air Suspension

Bad Brakes

Bad Tires

Bad Engine

Rusty Rockers

Bad C/V

Bad Rear Wiper Motor

and the normal rust repair on the rear quarters......and some other small surprises along the way.

I test fit my flaps today. I have to wait until tomorrow to actually put them on though, it got too dark...

On Sunday I also replaced my passenger side fender.

It went to auction because it had more then a 100k miles on it and was probably traded in at a new car dealer not used car dealer

 
We send cars directly to auction all the time that we think we can't make any money on or a small profit. Usually it is cars higher in mileage that need work.
