Now that I own a Subaru

Cavalier doesn't even compare. I owned one and "pimped" it out....I thought it was cool at the time don't flame. I would take a stock RS or even a stock L over any Cavalier. PERIOD.

I 100% Agree with you. My cavalier was my first project car and after buying parts and having a lot not fit I gave up on it with the way my car looks now. Soon after I gave up I decided to ask on the forum about a Subaru 2000-2005 WRX or 2.5RS. Shortly after posting that say a few days Scooby RS posted a 2000 2.5RS for sale and I jumped at the steal price and bought the car.

Congrats on picking up my car's twin! Max took good care of it while he had it,and from it's well documented past,it should treat you well.I know that the "rice" debate is in full effect here, but let me say this-it's your car,you paid for it,and quite frankly,if you think a body kit is cool for you,or that CF hood ya snagged is boss, run with it,I believe that if you what your car to be an extension of your personality, then great. Honestly guys,it's funny that we get all hung up on rice, but if he likes it,let him go nuts, anything he does is a HUGE step up from runnin' a Cavvy....my .02....and again welcome to the GM6 club!

I do not plan to buy a body kit how ever the carbon fiber OEM hood was free.

Question did any one read what I asked about my tires? we seem to have got hung up on the cavy again.

I'll repost and edit the old post.

My question is will my Enkei Performance 17" T-fork rims and Kumo tires fit on my RS?

you are missing the key measurement: wheel width. But I will tell you that 6" wheels will fill you out quite a bit. anything more than that I believe will be too wide and rub badly.

I will tell you that a GC will look great with 215-45-17's on 06/07 WRX 17" wheels.

^^^ I agree as that's what I'm running,a nice,OEM upgrade that definitely gives the RS a much more agressive look than the old stockers ever did.

You'll answer your own question if you check out the wheel offset guide in the wheel and tire section, has everything you need to know.....

Thanks, I do have a smashing head ache thanks to my awesome alergies this time of year.

going to check it out now =)

know how ya feel,bro...fall's the same way fer me....depending on clearance, and if I recall Max installed the Jackson Spacers on that RS,it might work,as long as you don't have saggy butt. he best way to really check is too jack 'er up,slap the wheel on,and check it out!

17x7 +35 fittment.

The picture below is 17x7 +53 with 225-45-17 tires. This rubs on full lock. Now move the wheel out aproximately 1" and you will have some serious rubbing.
