BTW, if you decide you want a turbo scoob , I know in Farmington there is a slick looking 2003 WRX with a fresh Black paint job and a lot of new goodies, dunno if its modded but I believe it has a boost gauge, sti type wing and clear tail lights. I believe the place that has it would take less than 10k for it. Around 123,000 miles if I remember right. The only downside is that it is being sold by a body shop, but I was told that the damage it had appeared minor when it was first dropped off there. The car interior and exterior is in better shape than my 2009 WRX is now!

Well I already have a car that I spent a lot of money on... This is just my beater. I am thinking about putting a v1 sti swap into it (2k plus a few $$$ to get it in). I dont think I would ever buy another "newer" subaru again after my last one. Only subie over 2001 I would buy is a lgt turbo. I am more of gc/old lego guy.

Sounds like you know what you are doing better than I, and those sound like pretty grand plans from someone with the capability to make it happen.
