What came afterwords nate?:spinmastert:were you there to listen in on the conversation? or are you getting 2nd hand info threw carter?Ive personaly talked with craig and got his version of the incident.[again 2nd hand info]..I truely believe that carter took denni's [private]words to heart and it hurt his feelings.Denni has forum experience and was expressing his alternitive point of view of how a site should be run when it got heated:rant:.isn't the forum thing a melting pot of conflicting ideas.And if we ban those who DONT always agree,its gonna be a lonely site..

i read all the words first hand, not heard the words second hand. i got forwarded the pms and emails. that's sort of standard procedure between carter and i. will try to touch base with craig today.

 
i have spoken with craig. we spent about 45 minutes on the phone. im unsure if hes coming back right off, but he has the ability to now.

i know the administration and this site is carrying the full weight of this "black eye", but i ask that you all still have confidence in the administration and moderators. i think its way to easy to pin this all on us. i just want you all to not be so quick to judge.

hopefully craig comes back in a timely manner. but its in his court now.

 
Let`s just take this as a learning expierence that was bound to happen sooner or later. We are all flawed human beings and say things that can be hurtful to others. We are thru it and lets all move on.

 
Thank you for letting him back. As a mod you need to uphold the rules, but you also listened to the members. That's an important part of being in charge, listening to the people you are in charge of. And you guys did just that, you listened to what we wanted and gave him a second chance.

So yes, I still have full confidence in the admins and mods, you did the right thing.

Thank you for that.

From now on hopefully we all think before we post, and this won't happen again.

I've been involved with Intraweb forums for well over 12 years now. and way back in the day BBS's.. and stuff like this still ticks me..

1.) (I've said this before) This is an Internet Forum, stuff can and will get said here. For anyone, Be it MODs, Admins, or us common folk, might not like. This goes for both sides of the argument here. what was said in the thread, and what was said in PM/EMAIL.

2.) To ban someone for something that was said, no matter how extreme it was, is BS. If you are the Admin of this forum, or just a Mod. to ban someone for saying what ever is very gestapo. Even if you took it as an attack, Get the Fack over it..

3.) Like was said before, us common folk are your customers. You really can't just go kicking them out if you don't like them, or don't like what they say. That's not good business.
