Slip N' Slide Rallycross

What are the conditions looking like at the Slip n Slide? Of course it's too early to tell but judging from last year it was pretty deep. I wonder if it's going to be muddy. I kinda doubt it will be entirely frozen by then.

Don't count on that. With the weather that's in this week's forecast, it just might be frozen enough! ;D

March...in like a lion? no wait...how does that go again?

i would like to see 3 foot snowbanks lining the track again! belmont has been dirt for FAR too long.

you will love it, trust me. Don't lift, apply a little left foot as necessary and hang on!!!!!!!

count me as coming. i will be driving there hopefully.

i will bring payment in hand, i will mail registration in today or tomorrow.

thanks!

I have to see what car I will have at the time.

But I will be there regardless.

Would anyone let me drive their rigs if I can't get my car situation settled?

you guys are all wrong about the cones.

they just sit there. you flatten them. there is no screaming (except maybe from inside the car)

contrary to popular "wisdom" cones are not magnetic. they do NOT jump out in front of you

get over it, grasshoppas :-X

Just a heads-up to those who haven't been to The Lodge before. If you are coming from Maine and are worried about your suspension taking a beating on some SERIOUS potholes, frost heaves, washouts, chasms, crevaces and such, don't take the back roads.

Common sense says:

202 West/11 South From Sanford -> Hookup to Rte 16/11/202 -> Route 11 North -> Route 140 West to Belmont.

However, this route sucks. It's an awesome windy road, but it's full of bad pavement that gives your car an early morning workout. I don't suggest it.

My thoughts - take:

202 West/11 South From Sanford -> Hookup to Rte 16/11/202 -> Take 202 to 126 West -> Take 28 West to 107 North -> Route 140 West to Belmont.

The section of 140 that you would take at that point is pretty nice. It's the section between Alton -> Gilmanton Ironworks -> Gilmanton that blows.

Just an FYI for any new-to-Belmont people.

we get on 202 and stay on 202 untill 106 just outside Concord. then scoot up past NHIS. this is always the way we have taken.

Kathy, Tim C, Anyone that knows: what is the current track condition? and how much snow is anticipated this weekend in Belmont?
