Storyland 2008 4/26 and 4/27

All major work is done on the RS. Getting an alignment tomorrow, and probably bleed the brakes one more time before saturday.

Looking forward to learning the car again this week and getting back on a course... soooo clooose....!! :violent4:

high 30s low 40s.

Depends on tires, temp, F/R

Guess and check depending on grip and chalk...

inski, every tire, car, and driver will require different TP for autox. I usually run 35-36 on the street... :

Last year i averaged about 42 in the front and 38-40 in the rear. Rear temp was dependent on the course and temps that day, which affected oversteer.

Tire can differ on how the warm up too. the yokos i had last year were awesome! They warmed up pretty good and only got really heat socked once on a 90+day with 2 drivers.

After an autox run tires def get hotter and TP goes up. With 2 drivers i had to let some air out between runs cause they were so close together. With only one driver a tire usually has more time to cool. But if they do get too hot just letting a little air out works very well to maintain TP. And if they get really hot those garden squirters are great i hear.

Man i can't wait to get back out there!!! >

Awesome!!! Bummer the supra isn't making its debut, but that leaves something to look forward to at the second event.

Actually I drove Rcomps once on my lancer, and I hated it... but then I drove a miata on brand new hoosiers and decided maybe it wasn't so bad.. so I'm going in between with some brand new advans :love10:

I really can't wait.

Plus, I've been driving on super swampers (225/60/16s... dont ask) so reducing my rolling diameter by at least 2 inches I think is going to make me feel like I'm in a rocketship!

Kinda like wearing leg weights all day then taking them off. R-comps are that nice eh? just what you need, an advantage.

I'd love to get some 14 or 15" steel diamond racing wheels, 30-35 offset with some 225/45 or 55's on them. Tiny wheels on a 2.2 would make it run like a 2.5 or better. Sigh... money.

I'd like some 17 x 10's running some 275 r-comps... but I'm told :nono: NO NO

Probably in the 3k range :violent4:

I really want to look into figuring out if there is anyway to get a diamond 15x10 to fit on the WRX 275/35s baby :bunny:

Looking forward to playing on the new shoes tonight!!!

I bet you could, they do custom back spacing and everything.. a 16" would definitely fit... that might be cool. I think I looked into some 16x10s from them.. those run about $100+ ish a wheel... not bad.. but the rubber would be like 0234975028350352 dollars...
