Bradbury tomorrow (Sunday) morning with TyTy. He's thinking he can be at my house by 9AM, and with ~30 mins of fiddling around, plus 15 mins getting to the park, I figure we'll start the ride by 9:45AM.

It'll be very low-key unless SW shows, and then it'll be crazy paced shiznit up "O" trail to start. Again. Eff that.

What is going on this week. I am good except Thursday.

Today was a day off. Me and my Bro went to SoPo/Cape on Sat morning at 6am.. Yes 6am. He kicked my ass. (he races, trains, well, just in great shape) We rode 17 miles in under 2 hours. I think I stopped 2 x. I am beat today.

I'm touch-and-go with house stuff, but I would be up for penciling in Tuesday. Any preferred location?

What loop did you guys do in SoPo/cape? Sounds epic!

I may also be in for Tuesday...if the weather holds. S'posed to ran all week, according to Kevin Mannix.

Unrelated note - my Nalgene hydro pack sprung a leak before TyTy and I went out yesterday. I bought the thing at Bean's, so I took it up there on the way up to Bradbury. Long story short, they took my little pack from me and gave me a Camelbak M.U.L.E. for free.

Epic WIN

I went to Sunday River with some friends yesterday. HOLY SHIZZZIT!!!!!!! Scary!!!! Kicked my butt!!!!!!! It started out a little damp and slippery and then started raining.

My forearms ache today from holding on trying to steer and BRAKE.

If I go again I will highly consider renting one of their bikes. Kona Stinky Deluxes. The rental would be $45 on top of the $27 lift ticket, but I think it would be worth it.

I'm up for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday ride this week. Saturday is the Meet & Meat down at Club Pedro so no ride that day 'eh?

We could ride pre-meat as well. I don't know any trails down there, but the road is good

w00t! That's what I use, and I love mine. You may also want the cleaner kit. The little brush for getting funk outta the tube is key:

We left from Scarborough, Pleasant hill, right onto Ficket, hit the pole line then did those trails until we made it to Prouts place, crossed street, and did all the greenbelt trails, then over to robinson woods, then back up through, then road up highland. Mostly the same we did the other day, minus hinkley and behind Cape high school.

Tuesday ride, 5:30 at the river trail. Meet up on Summit Street?

We can just do as much loops as possible. I am not too familiar with the trails. Anyone?

I have a vintage M.U.L.E. that I replaced a few years back. It was the 1st M.U.L.E... the new one is much more comfy. I think my wife has the 2nd Gen one and mine is the 3rd Gen. They get heavier each revision but more comfy.

Get yourself the brush kit and the little hanger drying thing. Keep the funk out and don't try to fill the camelbak bladder with beer. It doesn't work.

On the Portland side? I used to ride there a lot. I may be able to noodle it through. I'll invite a couple of Rage folks that may know it too.

Is there parking on summit st?

When i've done the river trails i've always parked at the Hannaford parking lot right off the turnpike and just rolled down to the entrance. I don't think there's parking on Summit.
