The Official MS Bike Talk Thread - motors need not apply

For 5 bills i'd pick that bike up if I didn't already have a 29er. A used Fox fork goes for a couple hundie alone. It would definitely be a good starting point and then you could put money into better wheels, etc. It is a single speed though...
You have one of Davis' bikes?? How do you like it?

You probably want more than I have... but how much?

I had one of those too... but mine was a Mongoose.

Picked up the Merckx frame at Freeman's today. Josh was able to sort out the headset & bottom bracket issues. She's all ready now. Just have to find the time to get the steerer tube cut to length then cable the brakes. She'll be a sick single speed! Since i don't have a 22t rear cog i'm gonna have to run 44t in the front and 18t in the back. EEch! Shouldn't be too bad.

anybody interested in 2 tioga city slickers (26x1.5) bought them for my fiance's mountain bike then she fell in love with the bianchi i got a while back. bought new for 45, seen maybe 10 miles use. offers?
