Found out something the hard way today. Russian MFS .223 is not seated correctly and binds up in Black Pmags. that's right, black Pmags are a bit more beefy than other Pmags and have less room inside for Russian zinc plated MFS ammo and all its inconsistencies.

The Russian brand MFS .223 55gr is a lot longer than its brass US 55gr counterparts. The MFS measures 10/1000ths longer than 55gr Federal and other US made stuff I have laying around. However, it only bound up in black Pmags causing failure to feeds intermittantly. The Tan and steel and Aluminum mags I have fed the russian MFS stuff just fine.

I'd had trijicon tritium sights on my last glock, worked pretty good

I like the normal Trijicon 3 dot carry sights for any carry gun. They are low profile and won't snag on anything. I'm planning to run the Trijicon HD sights on my G34. Nice big front sight for quick sight acquisition, and basically black rear sight. This is my preference for my training/competition gun.

I want the HD's as well but they seem to be back ordered on most sites.

I think i'll be getting an extended mag release, slide release and takedoqn lever for the glock

just ordered a magpul afg1 for my ak!!! i had a stubby foregrip but it felt very un-natural. will post pics once it gets here
