I'd like some spring steel. I've saved some tubes and rods so I can make wobblers. When you hit them they wiggle wobble a bit or spin.
I've got a 1/4" triangular piece that's roughly 2"x3"x2" with one hole from 7.62x54R, one hole from a 303Brit, and one hole from 30-06. Nifty piece of scrap.
I just got back from my favorite candy store, stone gun shop. Got a hard plastic buttplate for the 1917 that blends well with the gun, and a hip holster for the lc9, and I broke even trading a bipod :-D
Hasn't come in yet. I went over there yesterday and today to pester them aboot it. All I was able to get was a "We'll call you when it's in." On the bright side of the news, Howells tells me that my carbine is all set, so I'm going to run over there and pick it up tomorrow morning. Gonna make them cycle through a mag to make sure they fixed it.
Tried getting the enfield 1917 sighted in with a newer 3-9 scope in preparation for moose season. Ended up with a cut forehead( short lenght of pull and not holding tight) bruised shoulder (plastic butt plate, on 30-06) and a lousy grouping. I should've stayed home. At least I have 3 other rifles ready to rock if I don't get it figured out before september
my faith was lost when they called me up and bitched that I hadn't picked up my mosin. but every time I returned their call the had no idea why I had gotten a call since they had no Mosins in stock.
Maine Police & Fire in Scarborough has a M&P15t hanging on their wall. Give them a call. I'll be down there this week for some parts addition to my AR. They have pmags for $14 also.
