Lewiston, and I bet we could get to 100yards...
Hey,I know I don't know a lot of you guys...but we're in Litchfield, pretty close by,and I have a 300 yard range, plus a 50 yard pistol range, and a bunch of rally roads out behind it. And we like to play with fun toys...

My short range happens to be in line with the atv sized door in the back of the garage. Noisy, but I stay dry

Sounds like where I need to be!

I need a coach. I want to do some competitions but I need a holster and mag holder and a coach first.

Inski:

You might be surprised what you get for a trade. Howell's treated me pretty well. You won't know unless you try. >;-)

Of course, once you are in there, the temptation tends to multiply greatly.

I was there today, as well as Reids in Auburn, and Cabelas. Had it in the trunk. I never asked what I could get for it. I did spend $60 on a case tumbler, media, and polisher solution.

Yeah, its a pretty decent area to shoot, its near the Litchfield fair...the owner SHOULD be haying it soon, that opens it up a lot more, right now we have a 300 yard 12 foot wide lane...I had my newly aquired $80 jungle carbine out there a couple days ago,and had to put a few boxes thru the DR-200...we mostly play at the 100 yard mark with the assault rifles,300 is nice for the AR-10 though.....also toying with the idea of a few pistol "stations" in the sand pit section, maybe some life size targets. A few guys shoot skeet out there as well. We shoot pretty much every weekend, and an afternoon like this will probably call for a few boxes to be wasted. We'd love to get more people out there with fun toys...

I just finally got around to making a heavy duty spinner type target out of some heavy spring steel nate found in my bushes. Got a 6"x6"x1/2" piece of spring steel welded to a 2 link chain on each side, hung from a nifty little bracket. 9mm disintegrate on impact, .243 makes a slight dent from 30 yards. Interactive targets are a lot more fun

I'll be building a beefier steel target on Tuesday. This one with a base mount that can be telescoped up and down. Will obviously take handgun fire, but also will be set to take rifle fire. Hoping to start shooting a couple hundred yards at it with the mosin.

I have a similar deal. I did my small gongs with some 3/8" thick round cutouts. 3", 5", and 6" diameter, welded them to some small block chevy pushrods, then welded those to 3 nuts, threaded them on to a length of 1/2" threaded rod,and hung them off a big saw horse.its what I use behind my house, works great with .22s and 9mm. I can shoot right from my basement,in case its raining or something. 30 yards is super fun with the AR .22lr .

My dads place is set up so I can shoot out the back door of the garage laying prone on a creeper :-D I'm going to buy some stock and build a taller spinner for the rifle range. I have enough spring steel to do 10 more
