Union Fairground RallyCross

I asked Scott about it once, he said it was too close to the (main) road. Also asked about the overflow lot at Scarborough Downs, he said there were hidden pipes and whatnot. *shrug*
It's too bad, Downs would be perfect. We would have a nice big lot to play in, nice paved service area, and it's all of 1/4 mile off of 95. Real close to food as well. I think I need to meander out there and check for some of these "hidden" objects. I've driven all over that lot, I've never seen anything. Hell...I could even bring my tractor to help smooth out the course every now and then.

Oh yes, downs that would be a great spot too I forgot about them. I drove down through last month or so and thought man I should go run the toaster around that track. Ha. But the parking would be great if it can work. Maybe we should test it out sometime and talk to them about just where the hazards are.?.?

You can has car? Keep checking the CMC thread for updates. Except on the rally page. I don't know what the deal is with that.

I'm not an SCCA member nor have I ever competed in an event so I don't go onto the NER page.

More than likely the address/location will be posted when all is ready to go.

I think he means the NER site, but I did read the CMC thread on it and apparently some guy's dad's farm is going to be the new site as long as the insurance goes smoothly.

I wish I had a million dollars and could buy an old unused farm to convert it into a sweet set of rally loops.

I met the guy hosting the event at Storyland this year. He blew his motor on his 2.2L and I sold him a 2.5. Looking forward to seeing how it runs. He mentioned about possibly using the land but I didn't think he was serious, glad he came through when we needed it most
