'04 Forester XT!!

So, everything is getting installed on Sunday. Getting some big help from a guy who has access to a lift and all the tools!! Gonna make the job A LOT easier.

Who has a lift and air tools....?

Those are some wicked big brakes, I didn't realize how big they were until I saw them in person.

Yeah Brembos are HUGE, wait till you see the fronts! And the best part is they weigh nothing.

A friend of mine has access to a lift at another guys garage, so I'm getting the hook up for this!! And it isn't costing me anything either, which is VERY good

At least give him some beer.

Front Brembos are here!! Actually look better than the pics that were sent to me. Need to clean them up a little, and then they will be installed Sunday as well!

Well I'm sure if you remove them from an EVO and install them on your Subaru they do, but I'm sure these will be AWESOME! Haha!!

^Lol

So everything is installed. And it works great! Still a slight weird vibration, but not bad, and I don't have the same fear about things breaking as I did with the other stuff. Brembos are awesome, I get a slight vibration from the front rotors, but I am going to get them turned at the same shop I was at today. The only thing that was at all a pain was the rear ABS sensors. The STi hubs didn't come with them, so I had to transfer them over from my old hubs. And the ebrake cables were a SHE DOG to get back into place under the carpet, but we got it. Overall it wasn't bad at all, it helped that everything has been apart numerous times over the past few months, but the parts are a great improvement over stock. Even got it a little slideways on the way home. Now I hope everything continues to hold together!!

I meant to take pics of the process, but it didn't happen, and I still have to get pics of the Brembos, I'll get to it.

Nice! As Dan said, it's very nice when a project is finally alive and reliable.

Good job getting the rear abs sensors out without throwing a temper tantrum and smashing it with a hammer.

Those are a royal pain.

Yeah it goes good. Like I said there is still a little bit of that vibration, which I still don't understand, but I don't have the fear of something breaking as badly now that it is all heavier duty parts.

And haha, yeah they were a SHE DOG! Burleigh actually did the majority of getting them out, but I also try to keep my cool when working on cars, not worth getting too worked up over, there are MUCH worse things!!
