Heres my gay bimmer

i think the stock wheels are sexy. only problem with stock wheels is every other ,m3 that eyar has them. i bet if those were aftermarket peopel would love them
nice car!!
The wheels that are on it only come in the competition package on 05-06's. It was a $5500 option that included upgraded brakes, suspension, wheels, and a track mode for the traction control. So they arnt actually that common and no Pat as much as I love some of the wheels you posted these will do just fine.

oem is the way to go here. It's an M3 for pete's sake, the wheel probably had more R&D time into it than our whole cars.
(exaggerated for effect)

Nice car Nate, glad to see you finally in the car you've been lusting over for so long!
Thanks! Yea its been a long time coming...

Looks great Nate. That color makes it a real sleeper. I `ll keep my eye out for it whenever passiing by your home.

Yea stop by sometime and I will take you for a spin.

nice, kinda of funny if I ever get rid of my sti this was the car I was going to get. I would go for silver or black though.
Yea blue wasnt my first choice but its really growing on me and apparently at least on the bmw forums its a highly sought after color. LOL but what do they know im sure they are a bunch of ****** bags. I love the car but I dont think im going to be able to find to many bmw drivers I car for.

saw it in person yesterday. all rim speak must end. these aren't stock rims. they look nasty. you have to see them in person or a certain camera angle to notice that they are fairly concave, it makes them look BA

well, doh! those ARE stock rims, and exactly what's wrong with that.

M3s are BA cuz BMW knows how to (and actually DARES to) make real live BA cars right out of the box. think about it, ain't it just a little bit conceited to think that you can out-engineer the BMW engineers who have lived breathed and studied BA cars since they were babies??!!

sure, you can change the look if u want, but r u actually making the car better?

sorry nigel i should have explained. they aren't stock m3 rims, they're comp package rims for the m3. so the arguement that people were using that "everyone with an m3" has them was false.

how about we compromise on the language and call em "OEM" rims.

even so they are indeed gen-u-wine BA equipment

So I ordered tires from tirerack. A whoping $650 for two rear pilot sport 2's. I also ordered a dice silverline ipod kit. Then tommorow im ordering a full zaino detail kit.

If this M3 is gay, then I don't want to be........

Ahhh forget it. Sweet ride Nate and let the buying of goodies commence!!

LOL, I know what you mean. Most bimmer owners are ******s. they think there car is better than everyone elses no matter what type of bimmer they are driving.

So what did you pay for your 06'. PM if you want to. Maybe I will just ditch the Sti and not have to worry about rebuilding the motor.

heh, I hereby rest my case. ;>P
not enough tire on any of em to last more than approx 19 miles on Maine roads. Would you really want a Works taco??!! with the stock M3 setup, you can really enjoy the car on Maine roads and not wince every time you go near Rt 219 or something.
what if you're never near rt 219, wherever that is?

nice lookin car nate.

+1 for Zaino. I swear by their products.

also; all the "just like every other M3 out there" talk.....really? How many other Competition Packaged M3's have you seen in MAINE, nevermind the town he lives in? I would like to get some shots of this car after the detailing if you ever want to venture this way Nate.

So your next mod is going to be a 12" lift, mud tires, and a transfer case, ya?

no doubt. I knew of one from the 80s, the guy trashed it (not mechanically inclined) expensive demise, but he was well off like that.

my sister bought the 750il (v8) huge sedan.. if I am not mistaken you can see it going into hampden, at least it looks identical, for sale, traded in.

she and her husband did not have the time nor know how to makie it a "mainer'..

so yes, to see a maine m3 it would have to be modded in some way or another. even the biggest they offer is something not compatible..

219 is a short cut between Augusta/Winthrop and Rt 26 toward Sunday River. It's about 20 miles of twists crests and whoop-de-doos over wicked rough pavement. fun scooby road, but in a slammed Beemer with 30 series tires....ouchie. my buddy George was makin sparks on it with his lowered S4, and they wasn't comin out the tailpipe either!

there are dozens and dozens of those roads to deal with in our fair state.
