I got it from the same place I got the subframe. It's from a silver outback. So it's 2-tone. But whatever. It was cheap and in good shape. The inside of it is in sorta hairy shape, but I'm gonna swap the interior of the legacy door anyway.

So I went to Renny's to buy batteries for something. Couldn't have been in the store for more than 5 minutes. Come back out to my car and the driver's side mirror is broken off. Wicked pissed!

When I smash the mirrors off my GL driving offroad I'll definitely give ya a holler though!

The GL mirrors also hinge, which saved one of them already, actually.... As long as I don't hit something backwards with it. Thanks for the offer!

So the mirror I got is heated. My car didn't come with heated mirrors because it's a base model. It doesn't even have map lights...

But when I was putting it on, I noticed my car has the plug for the heater coming out of the door harness! This leads me to believe if I get the control unit for the electric mirror from an outback that has heated mirrors there's probably a hookup for the heater button hanging around inside the dash somewhere too. That would be cool to have heated mirrors! (well, at least on the driver's side... It would be more useful on the passenger's side because I can't reach out the window and clear it off with my hand, but whatever)

Except the card reader thingy, which I'll do tomorrow after work, is the computer still working well for ya?

I can look at the reader unit tonight, I think it's just USB i could solder it up, but my brain is gonna be frazzled when I finally get home I doubt I'll be able to make any sense of it...

Yeah seems to be working good. Thanks again!!! Is there a bigger cooling fan in this one, I can really hear it in there!!! Doesn't bother me, just wondering. But hopefully that card reader thing will work. But no biggie, get some sleep!!

It did seem louder, and yes, it does have a different CPU cooling fan because it has a different motherboard. The rest, hard drive, power supply, disk drive, etc is still the same. Just new motherboard and case really. It even has the same power button
