MINI GROUP DRIVE II

Just to beat everyone to it....

I put my car in a ditch...

The first minute of the dirt road....

On a straight away....

Literally the biggest noob movie I could have done, I did.

Spent the whole drive home kicking myself and dissecting it, but rather then make excuses, I'll take my ridicule like a big boy. Big thanks to Dan for the tow strap and Rezpunk for hauling me out. I'm fine and the cars fine.

I'll have regular pictures up in a bit.

The off wasn't a big deal, it could've happened to any of us...... Of course it didn't so I'm sure that doesn't make you feel better. And you know exactly why Rally drivers like a swept road.

 
Awsome drive guys. Like I have been saying though I don't have good access to an internet connection from home. Due to this I have uploaded just 2 of my favorite shots from the drives more exciting moments. Took me 1/2 an hour just to upload them. No offence Dan, just look at it this way, these pictures just make your car look more subaru like than the whole rest of the group. Ha ha ha, but all in all I say we had fun and nobody got hurt or broke anything really expensive aside from Dan's Mudflap that tore off in the Mud and the other Dan's (RangeleyRallyDG's) windshield ping. Sorry about that ping again by the way bud. I will try to upload some other good pics later when I have access to a connection that works or have time to wait, but right now I am off to bed!

pictures dont show how deep the ditch really was, or ho steep the banks to the ditch were and why we couldn't bring him out forward.

we had to tow him 40 feet backwards from which he came untill it was low enough to yank him back forward up and out.

 
that part right there made my day! not just because u were able to get the car into the ditch and not even ding it up but that we where able to get i back out without much problem and and u had a big grin on your face the whole time=) way to have fun no matter what happens dan! and ryan i talked to portland glass and its a cheep fix only ganna take about 30 mins and how was i able to be in both pix?

you can kinda see how close dan was to saveing it! i was pritty sad when i herd over the radio"Dans Off" then we got there and dan was out of the car and never happier to see his beautiful sub deep down in that Rocky Logy WET ditch. I was all the way in front when u went in so i couldn't see anything. but props for and your ditching skills. you where even able to miss the big rock getting towed backwards out!

 
Yeah, it was pretty excited and Dan was a real Subaru owner keeping that smile on his face during the whole ordeal. Big thanks to Rob and Dan for pulling out the RS with a nice tow rope. Thankfully nothing was broken, to my knowledge, and the worst thing about the whole mess is that Dan has a cool story and some sharper driving skills!
