Lol phil those wheels would look crazy!
So just got some good news!
looked the car over-
1- Cleaned it and interior is very clean!
2- Exterior is pretty solid- dent in side is gone now, hood dent will be fixed as soon as I can get someone over again... and both rust spots are cut out and sitting in some por 15 for the night (the door/rear qrt area about 3in each side).
3- The underside is RUST FREE!
4- The struts are all good no leaking and the fronts are both oem new subaru ones (this summer as paper work said)
5- exhuast is recent
6- tranny fluid is clean/ oil clean/ coolant clean
the bad...
1- dirty brake fluid but good lines
2- front shake is from bald tires so def need new tires
3- Valve cover on drivers side leaks oil also looks like timing cover does too
4- rear diff has a gunk all over it so it prob has a leak. But not out axils just out cover...
so tomorrow...
get it registered in am
get tires for now (free ones)
Change oil - Castrol High Mileage with some Bardall stop leak no smoke x2 to combat valve cover leak (it is a very small leak more like gunk)
Change diff fluid and get it sealed up
Undercoat to save its rust free tub
Have Ben weld new 1/4 sections and hit with bondo hair and spot cream.
Wet sand car
Look for wheels, springs, tires, and other parts to clean it up.
Lol gotta love that my friend Ben will do most of this for me for a 30 rack since my back is F'd... Oh and Nate my battery is good so I wont have to get it changed at vip!
