SiF Motorsports. A shitty legacy, nearly 10 years of RS racing turned rally car. Bonus jeep and mustnag junk

Is the rally car coming to Castine?
I thought about throwing the loud exhaust on and driving it up, but the last thing I need is some stupid parent tboning the car a few days after I mailed my check for entry fees.

I'll have the legacy. You can look at that and admire its 600 dollar sexy beaterness or whatever.

Ug, have spent wayyyy too much money today. Rebuilding all 4 knuckles/hub things with fresh bearings and brakes and ARP hardened wheel studs. Old stuff goes in the spare pile. We will be able to unbolt one corner and bolt in a complete replacement.

Entry fee is in the mail. Competition license and decal package paid for. Our # is 251.

My debt card is smoking ug. Don't get into rally kids.

I am now just noticing your dad raced my STi with my friend driving it at beech ridge at the spectator drags....

Well the front pass one is all dickered anyway, the mounting tabs for the caliper bracket are bent...

We are entered for NEFR:

Few weeks ago:

I get my log book. It is filled out.

All I have to do is move two lap belt mounts and send logbook dude pictures and he will mail me log book. yay. done. want to die.

Mothers day:

Got the door and windshield decals in the mail.

The door decals suck. They wrinkled the second we tried to put them off. We cut the white section off and ended up spray painting the door instead.

Fixing my seat belt mounts so they comply with the angles logbook guy wanted.

Yes the welds look shitty, but there is a huge backing plate underneath, so even if the welds fail, the thing has a huge surface area.

Before we started welding, the power went out. Tree branch fell on power lines right in front of the garage. Power company fixed it after 2 hours.

So we put on the wrx hood:

The scoop is false advertising, so we made a block off plate:

Also put on my sick tuner lugs from jamal:

Gave all my forester raisin to urabusturbo in trade for a set of turbo SS rims:

Today we rolled the mustang into the shop to start the chassis bracing.

UMI torque box plates:

The torque boxes failed on the last car, completely ripped apart on the chassis.

And Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors:

Ripped off some useless raisin.

We now have three sets of those side skirts. American racing dual drilled turd rim is going to the dump.

Scaley lower control arm box area. Cleaned it off, hit it with some rust reformer.

Bolted in new brace:
