SiF Motorsports. A shitty legacy, nearly 10 years of RS racing turned rally car. Bonus jeep and mustnag junk

If you paint front cage tubes black, they're less distracting to peripheral vision and to forward vision when you're sideways. Cage tubes tend to emphasize Impreza blind spot around A pillar and rearview mirrors, so anything u can do to minimize the effect is good.

That's the plan. Right now it's just in primer to get something on the bare metal.

I dig the rice corner rd pic, I too have taken photos of my ricey car at that exact spot. It was cool to see it in person and get to sit inside. amazing quality on the cage, pictures do not do it justice. Btw This car is not for fat people, it takes some finesse getting in and out.

question. all of the bushings and the anti lift kit you put in the legacy, what model did you get those from to fit your car? ive looked through turn in concepts and i didnt see them list any suspension bushings specific to the 00-04 legacy. just everything for the 05-09. i do know that there is some interchange from the models. ex i know forester struts will fit the impreza and vice versa.

Try getting into Detota's GC with a similar cage.  She is 5'3" and about 95lbs with helmet.  I had to run that thing 20mi to scrutineering in Prescott.  it wasn't bad until I had to go through a neighborhood with speed bumps..  Ughh.

PM me or get at me on facebook/IM/email, what ever.

The question is not what part number you need, it's what are you trying to do with your car. "I don't like how x feels, I want to y better, I don't like z when cornering".

A lot of ricky ricers just bolt raisin on because it's aftermarket and that ==== betterer. It isn't.

Let me know where your car feels lacking + what your budget is, and I'll recommend a package for you.

Flew in Friday night from my business trip. Got to the shop at 9pm. Dad was sick with the flu and when I showed up at the shop and he was working on getting the belts. Got the car on the trailer in -2 degree weather around midnight.

Up at 4:30 am saturday to drive a few hours away.

Got used to that view pretty quick. Need to figure out why tow/haul mode is busted on the 05 two fiddy

Car unloaded.

Mid day after getting my ass kicked, team #NEAI decided my car needed to be decorated:

So I got my ass kicked all day. Came in dead last. Between the bald tires from 2004 and the cookieed up rear suspension the car just had NO traction on frozen iced over grass.

The team captain was not impressed:

I got to ride in it. Something is def fudged in the rear and the sliding around wasn't fun. That field was like an ice rink. It was a decent start to a shake down. Looking forward to the next event

Yes something is clearly wrong with the suspension. I was breaking traction on pavement the night after the rallyx driving around town.

I'm tearing it all apart this weekend and making some tweaks.

Also, winterforces are like 360 bucks on tire rack.... uh oh.

wayward rear end sounds like too much rear toe and/or too much rear swaybar. I remember stuffing my RS racecar en route to the alignment shop after I'd rebuilt rear end...damn thing went straight off backwards at first turn on dry pavement...and I'm pretty quick with the countersteer. it had like 3-4 degrees toe out, yikes. hadda steer it to go straight.

PS--Regarding your inop tow/haul mode on the f-250, check fuse for OD on/off light on shift lever...I lost OD on my F-250 and thought "oh the torque converter is toast" and was mentally kissing $800-$1000 buh-bye. Turns out it was a 5-amp fuse for the indicator light (forget the #, but it was on fuse panel under dash) , and poof the trans started behaving again. Win!

Getting some snows this weekend so I don't have to rallycross on 10 year old bald ones.

Pedro, I'd be down to mess around with alignment, need to get it stickered first so I can drive it without a blaze orange sticker in the window.

you have a trailer right?  Just take it down Rt1 to avoid tolls Or I could just bring the thing to your place if you have a nice level area do to it.

I have a level concrete garage a few minutes from Tim's place. I'll be around all day saturday working on the thing.

If I can get out Saturday, I'll give you a ring.  I am not sure what I am supposed to do this weekend yet.
