The Official MS Bike Talk Thread - motors need not apply

OK - no action on tomorrow night yet, but I'll throw my stuff on/in the whip tomorrow in case something materializes.
I might do the Urban ride tonight, not sure yet. I am getting my ass beat at work today, so it might be a few beers after work opposed to a few miles. Hahahahaha I will post back before I leave work..

We could always do an Urban drinking walk...Bar to bar to bar to bar..

I could do a ride and beer tomorrow (Wednesday) if anyone is interested...The trails may be a little crappy after all of the rain, but worth a shot.

I, too, am getting mulched at work. That might be just what the doctor ordered.

Personal best: parking lot to Knight Woods to Fox East to Ginn to Ragan to Lanzo to parking lot. 1:10

NICE! Good job, Jim!

The deluge has returned, so I'll be working on the ark tonight and checking my scuba gear.

Wifey just got a new job as an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter here at USM, and she just got her schedule for the fall "travel season" - September through November.

Let's just say I'll have more weeknights I CAN ride than ones I can't. Lots of miles coming up, I dare say.

This is all Kevin Mannix's fault. Yell at him.

Any chance we can have a bike garage day sometime? I wanna learn how to make adjustments/maintain this pig myself, but I don't know any more than how to change the tires. Wait, I can put the chain back on after it's come off post-fail, but that's truly the extent of my knowledge.

You're 90% there. Bike maintenance is not that tough.

Love to host, but we're packing up the house to move. MB?

I would be totally psyched to host a Bike Garage Day. I desperately need to tune up my bikes. And I need some help!

So...what Saturday?

Cape Elizabeth, by the way. Lots of road outside the door (well, i guess there is everywhere) and the greenbelt trails are in my backyard.

ooh, ooh... I also have a stand. It's red. It may be nice; I got it a few years ago at a moving sale. Along with a kerosene heater I've never used and a couple of beach chairs I coincidentally took to the Swap Shop today. Mildewy.
