I ordered some new rubber today. Woot! My back tire was pretty much a slick in the center. Made getting over wet rootz a bit difficult.

 
It looks like Bradbury is closed, with no real plans to reopen by tomorrow night. Alternative WNR? I'm getting a little sick of sopo/cape. Suggestions?

What about Congin? I have never been, and probably will not join tomorrow. But there is a slight chance I might, cause just found out the realtor can no good look at houses. So my next excuse will be, "I have to feed the prego girl" :laughing1: :laughing1:

Both Congin or the Urban are disgustingly convenient for me. Congin is a bit better for the cardio, the Urban has downtown stairs. Either way is good for me.

 
6p would be better for me... gives me enough time to get done with work and haul arse up there.

So my rear wheel was pooched on yesterday's ride. Rim was getting a little thin and I think I hit something (not that there are any roots or rocks on the Cape/SoPo trails) that just caused it to buckle in a bit. Oops. Dropped it off at Back Bay Bikes today for a rebuild and picked up a cheapie rear wheel as a hot spare.

If anyone is looking for replacement batteries for riding lights... http://www.batteryspace.com has 'em on the cheap. I picked up a new battery for my Niterider Classic Dual Beam for $85 and that comes w/ a new charger AND it's a NiMH battery vs. the old NiCAD pig. The Niterider replacement was $185 for just the battery! EEch! I'm goign to have to do some surgery on the connectors but that's no biggie. Probably going to have to get a new one for my Niterider HID light cuz on some charge/discharge runs this weekend it was only lasting about an hour. Might be tight!

That's a hot tip. I need some new lights for my ancient 35W darkends.

Ok, let's meet at 5:45 at the lot behind Deering. We may bag the cemetery (mossy granite + days of rain = ouch).

Andrew- we'll swing through Novare Rez. Keep an eye out for us!

 
I'm still in - a buddy from Gardiner is coming down, too. We know the trail well, so don't anyone feel obligated if they can't make it.

Enjoy, I will be chillin with pregnant girlfriend. Even if she was working I woudl bail, my legs are jello. 2 days of hard skating.(Only 2 subs on the bench)

Would like to be at Novare to Chill but what would Suzanne drink, Water?

She has been great so far, Sat she will be my DD, cause I will be at a pig roast drinking mad quantites of beer and playing horseshoes and volleyball....
