BBury might be tough for me to make it up to before too late. Good weekend ride, tho. Urban/Hinckley/Cape?Group ride - is this Wednesday too early for a post-work Bradbury ride? Weather looks mint.
Ask the rage guys- they'll knowI could do another Urban easy enough. Has anyone ridden Hinckley/Cape yet? I wonder how dry she is.
Bummer! Lots of less expensive forks here: http://www.pricepoint.com/thumb/3-Parts-59-Forks/Accessories-True.htm They have a 2007 Marzocchi for $268...Update on shock. It is not well, all banged up. And since it is about 6-7 years old it is not suggested to get it rebuilt. So now I will be spending more money on bike parts than I wanted. That is all for now...
No just spd pedals. I've had the bike for a while now, i've changed it to a minute 1 fork 100-130 adjustable. Swapped out the wheelset with an allmountain one and added hayes discs. It's a rugged little thing, and its pretty light for its age. I'm planning on replacing it next year just because it's time for something new.Nice Ride! Vintage Klein Mantra. I wanted one of those bad when they came out...Are you running Time pedals as well?
That ride goes right by my house- post up if you want company next time.
Cool I'd like to do that to my old Fisher HKEK Chromo, but the g/f uses it for occasional rides with me and she'd wouldn't be a fan of the one gear thingtook the wife out for a ride tonight.
nothing big. only 2 miles or so.
she has never really ridden a bike before so I picked her up a cruiser last year.
finally got my single speed conversion dialed in on the MTB it was a good ride on my old ChroMo frame.
get her something elseCool I'd like to do that to my old Fisher HKEK Chromo, but the g/f uses it for occasional rides with me and she'd wouldn't be a fan of the one gear thing
I had an older version of that fork back a while ago. It was a great cheap fork! Zoc's are tough as nails in my experience. Still have one from like 2001 or 2002 on my fisher.Bought a front shock today. Marzocchi MW Pro, 2008, for under 200 bucks. We will see how it goes. I am sure better than my seized up SID.

you going to take the SID apart? Thanks for the re-assurance. My Bro (Who races road and Mountain) sent me a link for that shock, so I trusted it, but was still a bit... Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh It was almost 50% off. And there was no way in hell I was going to spend 500+ on a shock that gets riden 20-30 times a year...(hopefully more this year)
Hopefully see ya on the trails soon.
