The unofficial GUN talk thread

I carry a Glock 19 every day and I love it. It's a 2nd gen with probably 20K rounds through it, and I can still break clays @ 100 yards with it.

Get the 26, you will never regret it.

Old wise man (the guy next to me at work) said....

"the person on the receiving end of 9mm or .40 will not be able to tell the difference."

Today's wreckage. All 9mm, except top target on last picture which was 30-30 and 22Lr(rapid drill w/red dot)

oh, cabela's has 9mm for $9.99/50 Sellier&Bellot. $20/100 is freakin awesome. There is cheaper ammo out there, I just haven't bothered to really shop around.

Yeah, go to NEF & G3 Firearms in turner, and Cabelas, and Howell's in Gray. Handle a bunch. Get the one that feels good for YOU. What feels good for me is different for you. Only you can tell whats good for you. Glock has a very good track record.

herters(which is now owned by cabelas) 8.99 for 50rds of 9mm luger
I've got a couple ammo cases full of Herters, good for plinking. Just make sure you clean the gun well after shooting it. It's steel cased and shoots kind of dirty.

Hi guys, If anybody knows someone that is looking for a 9mm, I have mine for sale.

Ruger P85 With maybe 250 rounds through it. I bought it last year from a retired State trooper. He received it as a retirement gift. Very clean shoots left or right hand easily. Comes with 3- 17 round magazines, Original case, Leather holster. Stainless steel and is the MKII edition. Was fixed by Ruger on recall. I'm looking to get around $300.00

if i didn't need to fix the tranny in my forester i would buy that in a heartbeat

and as far as concealed carry, i had a glock 22. too big and ammo was too expensive. now i have a taurus 941 (8 shot 2 mag wheel gun) 4 inch barrel. light, easy to hide, and if i ever need to use it, it can make the reciever hurt/ slow down enough so i can get my knife out

but i could use more stopping power

Kinda wish I knew you were selling that gun before today. Although I was looking for something a little more concealable.

New purchase. Great deal out the door. Used Glock 26 (shot very lightly, hard to even tell if at all) MMC Tritium Night Sights, Pearce +1 mag plate extension (Holds 11 now). Ill be adding slide release extention. Picked up a couple boxes of ammo too. Some plain full metal jacket for the range, and some hollow point for defense.

Hmm...

Nate, if ever want a close free place to shoot, you can come by my house. We got 20 acres or so, so it's legal

Nice pick up by the way, Im starting to look for a handgun now, would love to get a m9 of sorts.

Thanks G... I might take you up on that. I can bring my shotgun too, and we can have a good old time. Like shooting skeet??

Love shooting skeet, we got room for it too, but we don't have a thrower. You can bring anything you want, no ones around.

I'm sorta, kinda looking for a Ruger 10/22. I'm not 100% serious, but if the one came up for the right price...

Skeet?

HELL YEAH!!!!!!

I have a Remington .20ga pump & a .410 single-shot...

LET'S DO IT!!

At Meyagi's or if it's pistols and rifles, my backyard. (yes, it's legal where I live!)

I haz massive BBQ grill, let's blow some shizzit UP!!

XXX

Anybody have a Ruger Red Label 12ga?

I have been swooning them for a while. But I would love to run a box of shells through one before I lay down that kind of $$
