Inski- were you in Brownfield on sunday?shooting a M/N Bolt rifle and mini 14 and some other rifle?

I gave in and traded in the "luger"(stoger .22)

for a 10/22

300+ rounds 3 types of ammo from CCi to ****ty 10+ year old cheap bulk ammo. not 1 fail to fire/feed/or eject...

Holy Moly, I thought I recognized you, but I haven't seen you since the old Patriot days and I wasn't sure. Haha I forgot my 10/22 mags ..almost asked if I could try your Ruger. I was gonna get a Hogue/heavy like you have, recent sale at Cabela's. Momma said no. Super feelin nail driven plinker. Some day.

Yes, we are 3/4in from perfect on my son's new 30-06. Still not there. He did some work on the M/N. Super smooth now, except with the FMJ Russian stuff. The Russian Barnell works great. We also forgot our long range targets so I guess we'll be back there soon.

Pedro, I expect a full report after your first round of fun with it.

I have fired 1 round with the troy industries iron sights. it was dead flippin on @ 50 yds. But we had a sleepy baby, so I didn't push my luck

but the damn thing is smoother shooting than my .22!

 
yeah, I was 90% sure it was you but I got burnt at the last NEFR going up to some folks that I thought were part of the forum.

They were;" huh? what? and. Oh I think one of my friends was on one of those once..."

Looked like you have a good setup had your own spotter and everything.

Already ordered the correct front and rear sights, original sling and stock mounted magazine pouch. Picked up a couple more 15rnd. mags at Cabelas this afternoon, just in case the zombies come is waves of more than 15. They were all out of the big plastic boxes of .30 carbine though.

Hey, I used to deer hunt with one just like that. Fun little gun, and it was a little easier to shoot than the 30.06. Al need to buy bullets, I want to shoot stuff

 
Me too. Pops got one for me at age 12 or whatever. He handed it over to me a couple years ago. Haven't hunted with it since I got the 30-30. Now my youngest loves the M1.30carb. Handy dandy fun thing. I wanted to get this one (formerly Adam's, now Ty's) but my money is no good these days.

HAVE FUN Ty!! Ruger makes a revolver in .30 also. Something to think about.

 
well brighton and I put 90rds through the SR-556 yesterday. knocked another tree down. I completely forgot to play with the gas system adjustments, but it was super smooth. The wifey said it was too loud and that I need to get a supressor:hyper2:

I do not keep up on guns, but assalt rifle and modern is a big subject.

I found some video about it, and do not like it already. the gas chamber spews as well as the ejecting... if you are in the dirt.. it is blinding. Glad I saw it in vid...and it also gives a bigger cloud with a "look at me I am over here"

I had a duty of cleaning hundreds of m16s, and hated them.. very toyish, bent, plastic like made in china, or my subarus gear shifter area.. always making noise, etc.

the ak47, or old brut minded are still the greatest.

it was fun going to school the next day and telling everyone I shot an M1 last weekend. the boys where all like "holy sh**"

 
.30 and .223 are fun in semi auto, but my Remington mod 8 in .35 Remington ( think a double sized .357 mag round 200 gr bullet) gets the job done.
