Haha. Yah I don't know how Gabe's pic fly's under the radar. He found a loophole and is exploiting it.

 
I got a pm, and it lead me to the old forum address, from the email notification. It didnt show up on this version of the forums.

That's because someone got access to the old forums and sent you a message from there. The only reason the old forum is still up (similar domain name) is so I can rob parts for the new skin. Please stay out of the old forum.

 
Bratman you can get your old album at www.mainelysubaru.com (no s at the end) click the forum link on that page. Please refrain from using the forum there.

Also clean out your messages!!

One thing I don't fully understand is the reputation. How does one gain or lose reputation?

 
I think we should just get rid of it. I don't see much good coming from it. Oh and I think you click the little plus minus signs by the bottom of someones post for the reputation.

oh, huh. I've only ever been on one forum with that before. But it was for access to special features. It was a company forum, run by the company. So as you helped people they could give you a star, or whatever and you got points.

 
Some things that are really awesome about this forum...

1. You can put a buttload of pictures in one thread. AWESOME!

2. The PM system is WAAAAAAY better. Just go to the conversations button and you can see all your chat back and forth just like a thread on the forum instead of going back and forth between send and inbox. That SUCKED!!

3. MOBILE! I run the mobile skin on my PDA. Works much better than the VB one did.

I'm still getting used to it because I was used to the counter intuitive way VB worked...

Only big issue I'm having is that I can't PM Mark....

 
I'm on a couple forums with the whole rep/neg thing. It usually isn't the greatest thing to have. I would vote to get rid of it.

 
If you remember, we actually had this system on the old forum, but we made it go away. It typically NEVER get used like it should. Im sure it will go away here too at some point.

 
If you can't send a message to someone its because either your box or their box is full or both.

I can edit the rep system by allowing only positive rep and remove the option to give negative rep.

 
My inbox was full. It seems a maximum of messages was imposed so it went from fine to full all of a sudden... so it must be his.

 
i'll check on mine again. carter if you haven't already, can you check on the max inbox for mods/admins.

also, i noticed the RSS feed options, which is awesome. is it possible to have an RSS feed for the "View new content" info? that would be amazing. would make me want to power up an android phone with an RSS widget.

 
yep, it was my bad. i was WAYYYY over. my limit is lower than the last forum so basically i was over the second we ported to the new one.

any chance we can up it again for us carter?

 
I never noticed the "my content" link. That was my only problem with leaving VB
