das GL!

It did wonderful, actually! There was a fairly steep hill before the road. So I put it in 4wd lo, got some speed up, shifted to 2wd and onto the road. Worked awesome! And I just got in from fixing the front camber! Next week better tires go on

Then I'm gonna get more steel to finish the rear bumper and start my front one. I think I have an idea, it's gonna be awesome!

 
So I got un-bald tires on my car. Then took it for some offroading. And of course forgot my camera... but there is mud on the car as proof.

I still haven't found the limit of this car. Not even close. I was going up this hill and thought for sure I was going to be stuck and not make it up. But no... It sort of just bounced along up the hill like I was on my way daily trip to the grocery store. Made me smile

And I tried to change out my steering wheels today. But failed miserably getting the wheel off. I know someone with a steering wheel puller, so some time this week it's gonna meet it's match.

OH, and Jason, I have a lead on a charger for your car. A friend of mine may have the charger then I'll just solder something up so it plugs into your car. I'm gonna be sad to give it back to you though

I was drifting it in my driveway today. (I can charge it off one of my lab supplies)

 
Posting in here also reminds me I need to buy steel to finish the rear bumper and start on my badass front bumper.

 
If I could get some time, I would love to take you off roading, and show you what these cars can do!! They really are impressive!! Glad you're having so much fun with it.

And I forgot to tell you! I was turning onto fogler rd on my way home. And there's a big orange tree truck. So slowed down, and the guy yells out "Is that Jason's old car?" So I went back to talk to him, and we talked for a bit. He said that you put a lot of work into it and I'm lucky to have it.

 
Yeah I'm pretty sure I know who it was. That's cool though, good to hear he had good things to say!!! We don't always get along. He has a Suzuki crotch rocket that I toasted with my Forester LOL

and ya, it would be fun to go offroading some time!!! I'm always afraid I'm gonna get myself really stuck. or do something stupid ... But you know what the hell you're doing and have the winch

Yeah it's been a while, but I have done a lot of off roading in a Subaru!! But I still can't wait to try out that RC car!!!

So I can't get my effing steering wheel off with a heavy duty prop puller... grrr. I'll have to borrow the steering wheel puller.

 
That sucks. Hopefully that works. Did you ask on USMB to make sure how to take it off?? I know someone on there would know

At least it has an ea81, not that it has anything to do with the steering wheel, it makes him like the car and thus me more.
