das GL!

This is kind of on topic: there's currently a ton of wood smoke in Yarmouth. Is it generally kosher to burn your brush past sunset?

If you have a burn permit. Probably. I don't live in Yarmouth so I have no idea about the local rules. Your town probably has a website you can check the fire code and figure it out.

Jason: writing a PM

Four friends and I drove down to Portland in my GL for a party Friday night. The drive down was dark, but I could notice my friend looking for something on the side of the door. He said he was trying to find the handle to roll down the window

He was really surprised why my "crappy old car" (his words) actually had electric windows... I told him we could take his car next time and got a shut the front door!. haha

Haven't done much with the lil old suby lately. But I did drive it on the snow drive, and it did AWESOME!

I had a great time!!! It would have been cool if my co-driver showed up, or had told me he wasn't coming so a friend of mine who REALLY wanted to go coulda gone... (you know who you are...

).

I've been daily driving it because my Legacy needs tires badly and it's doing just fine

I was incredibly impressed with how that thing managed the roads. Didn't expect you to keep up towards the front of the pack.
Thanks!

I didn't expect to either. I went into this never having driven it in snow before. So I had zero idea how it would handle...

Crappy pic, but it gets the point across. I can get some better pics when it isn't dark and raining...

I got the lights for free, had to buy lamps for them though. After a good cleaning and a bit of wiring here they are! They work pretty decent, definite increase in visibility.

Gave it a very thorough bath today. Mud, dirt, and crap was in every possible nook and cranny. I spent over a minute in each wheel well alone. But now its a happy car!
