The Eric Benson Memorial Dirt Drive - November 28th

haha man i got my plate full...i have struts, o2 sensors, and other projects...get it here and we will try...you also need to skid plate off my wagon for Sams wagon...

give me a shout also we have to discuss a few things for the drivers meeting.

I'll be in Bangor saturday afternoon so I can help you guys if you want. Just lemme know.

Also, ski-pow, you're more than welcome to roll with me and navigate. I promise I wont drive into any ditches this time.

im getting excited for this drive! we are going to have a blast!

i hope my codriver shows up...he said he would!

turns out, my forester will not be making the trip, did the struts today and found one of the inner axle boots is torn and has sprayed the entire area with axle grease.

so i will be a co-driver for someone...preferably someone who would like a little lesson in dirt driving.

i have to get ahold of my co-driver and let him know, and see if he can still come and co-drive for someone else.

forester also is in need of front brakes...lol damn that list keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Have you found out exactly what's with the engine in the WRX? I know you said misfire on #2, no compression?

Want to put up with me for an afternoon?

I am definitely out.. the 28th is not far away.

my sube entered an abyss.

I resleeved two spark plug holes after a freak timing belt snap, water pump leak and plug hole that would not seal.. as if tt sucked on dynamite (err hampden dumpsite) on I-95.

one sleeve has an iridium that was in an old hole leaking... as if the plug caved in to out of round. I am hoping this is a simple vise squeeze and reuse, they got hardly any miles on them...the sleeves work excellent. Exactly round machined and extremely strong (11 to 1 is not of the question).. my real set back is the water pump suddenly leaking like a siv, and will not stop or even slow down.

if not a new plug fixing it, off with its head...I find the answer tomorrow, either way I cannot make the sunday time.

ride is a great idea, for the purpose.

Timing belt snapping on an ea82 isn't exactly a freak thing to happen... It's actually pretty common. I doubt there's an ea82 in existence that didn't have one snap.

But mighty superier EA82 best motor of fuji heavy industy rivalry in comparison to new flatbill EJ teck

ok the route is set and the rocks are painted.

typical maine roads...they changed with the weather...some of the roads that were smooth are now rutted and frozen. we will just have to take it easy on those spots...we dont want people cutting tires

all the trouble areas will be discussed in the drivers meeting.

be at the Milford Mobil On The Run NO LATER THAN 9:30! we have to have time for a drivers meeting and hand out books and other stuff. PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME!
