The Eric Benson Memorial Dirt Drive - November 28th

I did a semi-final check on my car today, glad I did because I found out my spare was flat.

Still have one more check to do, just to make sure I don't miss anything.

So guys, check your spares.

So, does anyone still need a CO? Bratman? I thought I was gonna ride with someone, then not, but now I'm not sure. I will go if there is a seat, if not- that's cool too.

come and co-drive if you have a vehicle to drive up. there are lots of people looking for codrivers.

Snows falling hard today,...at this point its still a go.

the weather should switch to rain and sleet...and hopefully get a little warmer tomorrow and melt. if not the drive is going to be a little slower..

but it is still a go!!!

Wish I had a full size spare. I still have no co drive. I should be on time sunday seeing how I'm only 15 min away.

Oh hi. Show up Sunday morning and you can co-drive for me. I promise I wont get us killed.
Sorry, gotta finish up robotics stuff for our competition next Saturday.

Also pretty sure I won't be allowed to

there will be open seats for sure. please come if you can...the roads are going to be...interesting....and the driver will need to focus on driving and not navigating.. so if you are available..please join us!

) mount up 14 inch spares. hrm.. I really wish I didn't waste my time at the Boring Bruins game yesterday.. hehe

SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW!! it will be AWESOME!!

Axle replaced. i have the bloody finger to prove it.... lol

skid plate mounted on Sam's WRX. Tires being fetched from the tire guys.

Rallikid on his way up to swap a strut top.

also i just printed out a Waiver and Liability form for the event, every one has to sign it before i give them the route books.

hahah no...i jammed it in trying to get the inner over the spline.

i have figured out, that it takes me about 20 minute solo...i need to work on getting that time down to about 15 minutes.

no not hard at all...im looking at it from a Rally Service standpoint...often we have 20 mintues or less in a service...i imagine 2 people could swing it in less than 10 minutes

I couldn't do an EA front axle in 20 minutes. It's to much dis-assembly and forcing the axle back through the bearing.

Rears are wicked easy so long as they come off.

Just out of curiosity, will there be a spare route-book or two available? I've been trying to convince people to drive, and I think I have a taker. I'm still planning on driving and I have a co-driver but the back seat's still open.

yeah there will be plenty.

remember to bring the entry/donation of $10 bucks...for the Eric Benson scholarship fund.
