The Official MS Bike Talk Thread - motors need not apply

The Portland Urban is going out again tomorrow, 5/20 at 5:30pm from Payson Park. Come along if you're interested!
What type of ride? Distance, skill level?
It's a mix of street and trail as we link up several smaller trail sections around town. I think the total distance is about 12 miles. The group is pretty mellow, and we stop to wait at trail junctions if needed. It usually goes about 1:45. This ride is on the low end of the intermediate skill level, with plenty of bail out points.

You can find the map at http://rageonportland.com/ or http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/3009097

Kewl. So Mountain Biking. Not road bikes... I am sure I will join in one of these days Bike is still in shop now..

I would like to do some River trails rides, Bradbury and hinkley... Not a fan of Prides anymore. 10 years ago it rocked....

If I can get my sh!t together i'll show up. Got my road bike tuned up and on the road on Saturday... got the wife's road bike tuned up and back on the hook yesterday... Just need to get the mountain bike tuned up. Maybe tonite unless i'm put to work when I get home.

Anytime you want to go, let me know! I don't ride the river much- between the PI and the nettles, it's not worth it. Bradbury is my favorite!

If you tune it, you'll be way ahead of the rest of us. I haven't cleaned mine since last week....

My wife and I just got back (well, last Thu) from 2 weeks near Chattanooga, TN. Hauled our camper down, stayed at a KOA. Rode at Tanasi Trails, Chilowee, Raccoon Mtn., and Booker T. Washington State Park. It was great to eat, sleep, bike, repeat. We did go to the aquarium and zoo on a couple of down days. After sitting around all winter in the lazy bastard, a bike seat HURTS!! :pottytrain2: :crybaby2:

That's probably the most riding I'll do all summer.

Haha! That's why I didn't ride into work today... my rump needs a break. Plus the wind sucked the life outta me yesterday on the way home. I had to crank pretty hard on the DOWNHILL side of the casco bay bridge just to keep moving...

I've done a TOTAL of 6 miles this year. Stupid moving.

Hoping to make a Bradbury run this weekend-ish if anyone wants in.

:crybaby2: I want to go to Bradbury. But not going to make it this weekend.

1. Bike is shop 2. Girlfriend has Sat off, will do stuff with her..

Good news, getting my new Time Atac pedals today? Hopefully....

Time ATAC's are the bestest. I love mine. Have my old set on teh commuter bike. Needed just a little lovin' and lube to get back into shape. New ATAC's are on teh MTB.

Also another ride just materialized for Sunday, June 1 at 9AM. Meet at my place in Yarmouth and caravan/carpool to Bradbury from there. Four people coming so far.

I'll be there on Saturday. Will be in the parking lot by 1:45.

Before Old Port fest. If bike is ready, and I am not going to get drinks at breakfast, I am there. (More than likely not, friends from CT are coming up for old port fest)

The twelve-hour jobbie? No way in hell. Not unless they have defibrillators and Dunkin' Donuts in case of emergency
