the race is filling up. you better sign up suckas!
But on the plus side, you have snacks!Man... that sucks! Hope you have a speedy recovery. What did the doc say as far as recovery time?
I rode into work yesterday... had to pick up a bag of cat food. The extra 10 pounds of food in the pannier bag made things a little wobbly.
Every year?! Can I have the old ones?!!^ How often should one perform that particular maintenance? Also, how long will a set of clipless pedals last? Someone told me that you should get new pedals each year. That person is also known for having a large trust fund and no mechanical ability whatsoever.
Yeah, the new management is less rider friendly than Mick was. Which blows.I thought my cleats were really worn, but looking at the new ones they really weren't that bad. I had a pair of new ones that came w/ my new ATAC's so no harm in slappin' them on.
Friggin' bradbury is closed again. I'm never gonna get to ride there this year. Every time I have an opportunity to ride & schedule it with momma... closed. wtf.
If I get cleared to play by the doc tomorrow, I'd be up for a Sunday ride.I called Bradbury... they're hoping that the trails will be open for the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed. The race is probably goign to get washed out by Hurricane Ike...
No love. Doc thinks I have a fracture in my femur. We won't know until the MRI, but I am on strict no running/ riding/having fun until further notice. fudge me!I'll need to go in the AM... so keep me posted. I REALLY want to get up there before the race to ride the course and also to scout a good parking spot to setup shop. If it's looking like Bradbury will be open a day next week I may take a day off and just go ride a few laps.
