Looks like it belongs on there. Nice. Bring tools and maybe blue locktite. I've found the semi-autos like to loosen scopes by themselves. With my Marlin 30-30, that scope, and 16" bbl I had groups around 3" at 100 yards with cheap Rem Core-Loc ammo, until the barrel heated up then the group expanded. With your .223 it should be much tighter with ammo consistency. One time at the range I watched a guy put holes in nickels with a similar set up like yours. He was making x-mas present necklaces for his buddies.

Do you notice any lead buildup giving you trouble when you go back to .223,or do you keep it super clean? I haven't put the .223 bolt back in mine, nor have I really de-leaded the barrel lately. I have put enough .22lr thru it to make the AK-74 flash hider a solid piece. With the .22 kit,and a nice dirty lead infested barrel, the accuracy gets pretty amazing for a bullet not intended to go down said barrel. CMMG claimed a 2" group at 50 yards,we are doing better than that from the picinic table rest.

Last night my father and I were at LL. Beans. He was searching for a new duck gun, I have his Beretta because it doesn't fit him right. While waiting around I spotted a few Marlin 915N BSA .22 rifles. Bolt action single shot. At the end of the night I walked away with it in my hands. Went and got a box of ammo today(it was extremely expensive at Beans) and put 80 or so rounds through it. Shoots really nice with a crisp trigger. When I can it's getting a scope so I can start driving nails at 100 yards.

BTW, LL Beans is taking 10% off the entire store, 15% off if you use a LL Bean visa card.

Well 700 rnds later having lil difficulty getting it sighted it is very consistent tho. And I got one dirty dirty gun think x mass ill get a good scope

More goodies coming for the completion of my Remington 870 build. This time I have parts coming from Wilson Combat.
