The unofficial GUN talk thread

Can I get ammo there? I had just planned to show up with a wad of cash and let it sort things out.
They should, it will be a bit more expensive than say walmart. But I haven't bought ammo at this range in eons so I don't know the price.

Kittery Trading Post is off exit 2 on 95s and there is a walmart right off 101 exit7.

I have a couple 9mm's you can shoot too. Go grab a 250 count box over at wally world. I think it goes for about $50 with tax.

As for Tulammo.... NO THANKS! I dont know how that guy thinks its "clean". And it must be the guy at the Auburn Walmart (nice enough and all) that swears by the stuff. So much so that he carries it as his defense round...

I dont think that 9$ a box steel case pistol ammo is what I would use, but to each their own. I think if you have a gun that's picky even in the least. Its not really worth getting. Scoop up the brass cased stuff for $1 more a box. Or buy in bulk pack (250rnds) for about the same price as the Tulammo. Not to mention if you even plan on reloading you should start stock piling brass. Steel case cant be reloaded.

Cliff Notes: If it was way cheaper I might use it. But for $1 more per 50rnds, I can get better ammo.

It is $3 a box cheaper at my walmart. I grabbed a box and figured i'd try it till I come up wit money for a bulk pack at cabelas.

m1 .30 carbine

Ruger 10/22 .22LR

Ruger P95 9mm

Ty, is your Mossberg 2 3/4" ? I have a ton of that. Target load. I'd love to try your shot gun.

I'll get some .40 and .45acp because I want to try every ones' .40s and .45s

Targets? Whats everyone bring for targets?

That russian stuff functioned great. Got it all out of my system this morning so I can go to bed in a couple hours. I hate storms on the weekend. Have fun guys!

Matthole, does that mean we're not meeting up? I'll check again in the morning.

Ammo purchased.
x2

I got some of the new Herters brass case "Select Grade", made by Fiocchi in Missouri. Should be good stuff. Super price.

Targets?

Adam is bringing a fun little hi-cap 9mm carbine. That should be a fun one.

ZOMBIES!

Aww, the Enfield looks all sad over in the corner while the rest of my stuff is packed up to go. If it had eyes, they would be all big and puppy dog like...

Greetings from NH!

As we were winding down, the guy in charge was talking to us, and asked about if we were a bachelor party or something. We explained car club blah blah blah. He said to go get the ring leader. So Nate got briefed.

Relink of Pedro's video. Mine didn't come out as good.

Thanks to everyone who let me shoot their guns. Big thanks to Pedro who let me put a ton of rounds through his Ruger. Thanks to Adam and Nate for letting my ride hop with them so I didn't have to take out a loan to keep the Jeep fueled.

I managed not to shoot myself or anyone else. Mission Successful!

I really didn't know wtf I was doing, I've only shot 22 rifles before and that was a looonnngggg time ago, but everyone was cool about teaching me stuff. I also got to shoot Ty Ty's shotgun, which was hilariously fun.

Thanks everyone who came out. It was fun until the d-bag came out bitched about the target hangers, then it was fun again. I need more ammo again. Seems my lead bag was a lot lighter when we left.

This summer we can get together and shoot some high power stuff about 45 minutes from my house. Maybe skeet if I can come up with a chucker. Dan, I was a bit nervous about you being a noob but you done well and I hope to hear about your range days in the future. You are welcome to try my stuff again.

Hope you enjoyed your machine gun action Nate. Looked fun. I'm tired now. Long weekend.
