Paperwork is similar to any NFA type purchase, except you get a license, not a tax stamp. I don't know much else, except that you need to keep a log book of every C&R purchase, available to the BATF in the event they should pay you a visit.

Pretty cool stuff though, getting firearms shipped directly to your door.

That ATI stock looks great,but yeah,it sucks to shoot. I have one on an FN police shotgun.My unrelated shotgun question is: Has anybody heard that Saiga-12s are going to be re-classified as a "destructive device" by the ATF??? Same thing they did to the old cobrays back in the day...I heard a few rumors about it at the last gun show...not good.-And yeah,Cabelas sucks too...ive been on the "Mosin List" for a while now,then they advertised them for even cheaper,and never called me. I called them,and was offered to go on the list again...

Also,that Ak is one of the nicest Ive seen in some time. Its been years since Ive seen the SKS style bayonet on one...All my junk Romys are super jealous.

I've also heard some rumors about the S12's being banned from importation as they are not "sporting"... I don't see how they can justify that, as it is no different than any semi auto shotgun.

I had a Ruger PC40 a few years ago... Super nice shooter. Wish I kept it

ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Ancient Ones is having their annual Gun Show this weekend at the Augusta Armory Saturday and Sunday. This show is a gun show with a twist. They will have gun dealers, tomahawk throwing, knife and sword builders, snow shoe makers, hunting and fishing stuff, Americana collectible dealers, native American stuff. Interesting stuff for guys and girls and the family. I'll be there Sunday. If you want to trade a firearm there will be an inspection at the door.

 
Back from the gun show. My son got a Cz82. Handy dandy lil pistola. I got nothing. However, I met a few folks that are going to help me out with future transfers. Fun stuff. Nothing spectacular there, but there are a few good prices on some interesting things.

 
I think KDice and I will be heading up the that show tomorrow... Is it all older stuff? Im looking for a Kahr PM9 for a new summer carry piece.

 
not all older stuff. the dealers kind of brought what they thought would suit the show, and stuff they want to move. So ya, there is a bunch of older stuff, but some newer stuff. There will be a strictly gun show in Lew in March. All the vendors have posters on their tables for the Lew show in March. I can't remember the exact dates. If you have nothing else to do head over to Augusta. Candice's co-worker Nick is working the event clad in 'Ancient' drab. Haha, he looks like a Pirate! He helped me sell some ammo that's no good to me.

Ended up selling my sr9c to my union rep from work and buying a winchester 1300 turkey(zombie) special 12ga

Sometimes the old/ faithful ones are the most fun. I bought the 1300 because we'd had a 1200 20 ga when I was a kid( well... younger than I am now)

What make/model is that?
