This would do it for me. I have the craving for the old stuff.
I haven't seen that beast yet. You just changed my mind.

Picture time! I got a few shots of some of the toys. Try to guess what the last gun all by itself is?

I do not have a clue. I'm going to use a shout out and ask my son. To me it looks Brit or Finn. Double stack (9mm??) mag. Mag release on the bottom? FLash hider similar in shape to the Enfield Jungle. Hrmmmm.

Its actually a 1970s carbine, built by a DEA agent. He wasnt happy with the department provided firearms, and built his own. The name is a J&R carbine, later made by Wilkinson arms,as a Terry carbine,or a Linda pistol. I have heard there were 3000 made, mine is # 2875. 30 rd mag, lots of fun to shoot and quite accurate. I actually got approached by an officer at a gun show,to ask about the legality of my "SBR". I unscrewed it,and showed him 16 1/8" of barrel. To me it feels like a small Tommy gun.

Oh bugger... Swung by Howells on my way home from a work thing up in Belgrade. I now want the new Walther PPQ, or an M&P45.

What, you didn't want to stop by fir a beer?

You should just buy both so you don't have to choose the first one to get.

my fav rifle is my rem 700 in .243. It was my 2nd fire arm I purchased after my 870. I had done a lot of research on different calibers for dear.

I was in school at the time and did not have much $$ so I went down to KTP after looking online. the rifle has a mediocre BSA platinum 6-24 scope.

the action is blued with a ss 23" bull barrel and a Macmillan stock. It is a bit much for in the woods but hell of a lot of fun at the range. My wife wants me to get rid of it do to rem 700 issues in the news. but the trigger is the nicest I have tried 0 creep, pull is ? 4lb? and I guess I would say smooth save the fact there is so little travel that it is more like a digital pressure activated button 1-2 mm travel were you pad contacts from start to end. I know I can get a "trigger upgrade" to get rid of safty issues with the old 700 action but I am sure my trigger will suffer. The only thing I would really like to do is have the barrel cut and re crowned to 20" I would also like a nicer scope in a more woods friendly 3-9 range. 24x is great at the range but no use in the woods.
