DIY or Northeastern? Changing up one of the Glocks or something else? Post some pics and review. Been tossing around ideas for the CZ and Duracoat.

Oh yeah! Looks great. Is that grey or green. I can't tell due to the picture quality or my laptop screen. What did that run you? My son is still thinking about doing up the CZ slide and frame with Duracoat or Cerakote. Glad I'm not the only crazy one with a 'hi-cap' magazine.

It's actually a steel grey. Looks really good. Nick liked the color so much, I talking him into stripping down a used Bushmaster he has for sale in his shop, and doing it up the same color. Someone needs to jump on this gun when hes done. Hes going to Duracoat it, and deck it out in Magpul gear. Should be a sick gun.

I've been eyeballin this one, and the Windham Weaponry's, and the Colt Hbar. The DPMS in 308 is a pretty good price but since my son already has a black gun in 308 I'm going to stick with the cheaper-to-shoot 556/223 stuff.

300BLK (to me) is a novelty round unless you plan to spend the paper to shoot it through a short barrel with a suppressor. It was specifically designed to be shot very slowly, with HEAVY bullets. Add in subsonic rounds to make shooting it through said suppressor even worth it, and you are talking about a hefty investment. 300BLK = 7.62x35... If you want a AR15 frame that shoots a .30 cal... and want it on the cheap. Get yourself a AR chambered in 7.62x39. You can pretty much find that ammo anywhere. Available in soft tipped hunting stuff, and also cheap-o surplus.
I'm pretty sure that might be the Bushy that hes planning on coating and dressing up.
A DPMS .308 will be my next purchase. I have one more project to do on my current AR, then its game on with my next build.

bought my sr9c back yesterday
guy bought it from me, put it in the safe and left it there till yesterday when he brought it in for me. since having to learn a lot of trigger feel with the lc9, I shoot the sr9c a lot better than when I sold it. just want to get a tactical light for it for when its on nightstand duty. and I got my scout rifle all figured out. fatherin law is parting with his winchester 94 (sometime, just negotiating) along with a tasco 4x pistol scope with kind of a target reticle. found a forward scope mount on brownells for 50, mocked up the gun with the scope on it and it seems nice, cant wait to get it together
