OK GUYS HERE IT IS! the google maps says way more miles and time then i think it will take... any u guys in farmington looking to meet u with the group u should be intrested in the legs D,E they will bring u from farming rt 2 to Rumford then we can all meet at the end of 108.. that's the least amount of miles for us to meet up.

Once they figure it out on google maps, it'll give a mile total. If you can't afford it, I'm sure someone will let you ride shotgun with them. I'm open to co-pilots as long as their 18+

That is some pretty serious milage and I think that you're right about it being off as well as the time. Either way, looks awesome! Up to the top!

 
Its been a pretty lame winter for us Subaru owners and some folks have mentioned that another mini group drive is in order. The last one we had back in November was a great fun thanks to an awesome turn out and a lot of help in route planning. Sunday, March 21st is going to be the date for this drive and we'll be meeting at the Lewiston/Auburn park and ride off the highway at 9am. As for the route, it looks like we'll be heading up towards Rangeley on the same route we took back in November.

No one will have a clean car when we're finished!

ok so google maps says theres a shiit load of extra miles! BUT IT WRONG! i know some shortcuts that can take lots of time out... also dont forget to bring a walkie with its pair if u can just incase someone need one who didnt read this also some cash for food and petro. on the run we will be makeing some cool stops for Pix bathroom break ect.

that&amp;#39;s good news! Not that a nice long drive is a bad thing, but 6+ hours...

Also, good point on the walkies and a couple bucks to keep you and your car going. Less than two weeks to go.

 
I don't think I could last driving for 6 hours. I could certainly be a passenger with some good music on though.

 
I would be coming from waterville. Its unclear in which direction you are going to Rangely. The map you gave looks like a big loop. But which way do ya go first? The Rumford way north or the Farmington way? I was going to take a short cut and join the group in Farmington. I will prob man up and meet in lewiston, lol just a lot of driving for me.

 
Not to familiar with the Lew/Aub park. What stores are near by? I just didnt want to miss the whole ride by not even finding the meeting spot correctly.

The B location is where the park and ride is, just type in an address you know into A to get directions. It's exit 75 off the Maine Turnpike.

well meeting us at the park and ride off exit 75 is way easier the trying to "take a short cut" to meet us. it a big parking lot on the left side of the intersection im sure there will be some Subarus parked there earley and where using rt 4 up to 108 in livermore falls area to rumford up 17 to rangeley and rt 4 back. to make it simple..

 
Sorry the meeting place isn't working out for everyone. One of the main reasons I like it is because is kind of a midway point between Augusta and Portland and it is right off the highway..not to mention we have a lot of members in the L/A area. For the folks closer to Bangor, I apologize for the extra milage.

 
It might not be like the roads I have heard talk of up your way...but if its like the last ride, I think you'll be happy with what we have planned.
